\u00e9 importante em diversos campos, como as ci\u00eancias da vida (nanomedicina, administra\u00e7\u00e3o de medicamentos, engenharia de tecidos, bioan\u00e1lise), qu\u00edmica, ci\u00eancias ambientais e ind\u00fastrias.  <\/li><li>A turbidimetria \u00e9 um m\u00e9todo r\u00e1pido e n\u00e3o destrutivo para estimar o tamanho das part\u00edculas, seguindo um procedimento f\u00e1cil de executar.<\/li><li>As curvas de turbidez em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de part\u00edculas de s\u00edlica em \u00e1gua destilada, com diferentes tamanhos, foram obtidas com alta precis\u00e3o utilizando o <a href=\"https:\/\/rheolution.com\/products\/turbidi-t\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TURBIDI.T\u2122.<\/a> Essas curvas podem ser utilizadas para tra\u00e7ar uma curva de refer\u00eancia para a determina\u00e7\u00e3o do tamanho das part\u00edculas.   <\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div determina\u00e7\u00e3o do tamanho das part\u00edculas reveste-se de grande import\u00e2ncia em diversas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es cient\u00edficas e industriais. Na \u00e1rea farmac\u00eautica, o tamanho das part\u00edculas de medicamentos ou de sistemas de administra\u00e7\u00e3o de f\u00e1rmacos desempenha um papel significativo em sua biodisponibilidade, taxa de dissolu\u00e7\u00e3o e absor\u00e7\u00e3o pelo organismo. Na pesquisa e no diagn\u00f3stico das ci\u00eancias da vida, a medi\u00e7\u00e3o precisa do tamanho das part\u00edculas \u00e9 crucial para o desenvolvimento e a valida\u00e7\u00e3o de m\u00e9todos anal\u00edticos, como em imunoensaios ou t\u00e9cnicas de rea\u00e7\u00e3o em cadeia da polimerase (PCR). Essa caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 importante em \u00e1reas como ci\u00eancias ambientais e monitoramento da polui\u00e7\u00e3o, geologia e ci\u00eancia do solo, ci\u00eancia dos materiais e nanotecnologia, entre outras.   <\/p><p>O tamanho das part\u00edculas em uma suspens\u00e3o pode ser estimado por meio de medi\u00e7\u00f5es turbidim\u00e9tricas, que oferecem uma abordagem simples, r\u00e1pida e n\u00e3o destrutiva [1,2]. A turbidez \u00e9 um par\u00e2metro que quantifica a diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da intensidade de um feixe de luz \u00e0 medida que ele atravessa uma suspens\u00e3o, devido \u00e0 dispers\u00e3o e \u00e0 absor\u00e7\u00e3o da luz pelas part\u00edculas em suspens\u00e3o. A intensidade da dispers\u00e3o e da absor\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 influenciada tanto pelo tamanho das part\u00edculas quanto por sua concentra\u00e7\u00e3o na suspens\u00e3o. Part\u00edculas maiores tendem a espalhar e absorver mais luz, resultando em uma inclina\u00e7\u00e3o mais acentuada na curva de turbidez. Por outro lado, part\u00edculas menores espalham e absorvem menos luz, levando a uma inclina\u00e7\u00e3o mais suave. Ao analisar a curva de turbidez, torna-se poss\u00edvel inferir o tamanho das part\u00edculas com base na rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre turbidez e concentra\u00e7\u00e3o.     <\/p><p>Nesta nota de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, nanopart\u00edculas de s\u00edlica de diferentes tamanhos em \u00e1gua destilada foram medidas no <a href=\"https:\/\/rheolution.com\/products\/turbidi-t\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TURBIDI.T\u2122<\/a> para ilustrar sua aplicabilidade na estimativa do tamanho das part\u00edculas. Foram obtidas rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre concentra\u00e7\u00e3o e turbidez para cada tamanho de part\u00edcula, as quais foram utilizadas para tra\u00e7ar uma curva de refer\u00eancia para a estimativa do tamanho das part\u00edculas em uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o desconhecida.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-adbaed7 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget-mobile__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"adbaed7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">An\u00e1lise de turbidez para medi\u00e7\u00e3o precisa do tamanho das part\u00edculas<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-27181a9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"27181a9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Materiais e M\u00e9todos<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2ebdc4f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2ebdc4f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>O <a href=\"https:\/\/rheolution.com\/products\/turbidi-t\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TURBIDI.T\u2122<\/a> (Rheolution Inc., QC, Canad\u00e1) \u00e9 um dispositivo vers\u00e1til para medir a turbidez de solu\u00e7\u00f5es em v\u00e1rias faixas. As principais caracter\u00edsticas incluem a capacidade de (1) modificar os cartuchos emissores \u00f3pticos para se adequarem a diferentes comprimentos de onda, (2) escolher suportes de amostra que se alinhem a projetos experimentais espec\u00edficos e (3) utilizar um tablet sem fio para coleta, personaliza\u00e7\u00e3o, an\u00e1lise e exporta\u00e7\u00e3o de dados. Al\u00e9m disso, o dispositivo permite ampliar a capacidade de medi\u00e7\u00e3o, possibilitando que v\u00e1rios instrumentos sejam emparelhados com o mesmo tablet.  <\/p><p>Padr\u00f5es de formazina (FTU) foram utilizados para calibrar o <a href=\"https:\/\/rheolution.com\/products\/turbidi-t\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TURBIDI.T\u2122<\/a> antes dos testes. Os cartuchos utilizados para emiss\u00e3o e recep\u00e7\u00e3o de luz foram o Emitt.635 (comprimento de onda de 635 nm) e o Receiv.ViS (comprimento de onda de 400 nm a 1.000 nm), respectivamente. <\/p><p>Part\u00edculas de s\u00edlica com diferentes tamanhos (160 nm, 500 nm e 1.000 nm; Alpha Nanotech Inc., BC, Canad\u00e1) foram dilu\u00eddas em \u00e1gua destilada em 5 concentra\u00e7\u00f5es: 150, 200, 300, 400 e 500 mg\/L. As solu\u00e7\u00f5es foram estabilizadas a 25 \u00b0C e tr\u00eas amostras de cada concentra\u00e7\u00e3o foram transferidas para frascos de 10 mL para teste (n = 3). Cada frasco foi bem agitado antes de ser introduzido no <a href=\"https:\/\/rheolution.com\/products\/turbidi-t\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TURBIDI.T\u2122<\/a> para a medi\u00e7\u00e3o. Os resultados m\u00e9dios s\u00e3o expressos como m\u00e9dia \u00b1 desvio-padr\u00e3o. Aplicou-se regress\u00e3o linear simples aos dados de cada tamanho de part\u00edcula.    <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9fe9164 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget-mobile__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9fe9164\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Determina\u00e7\u00e3o do tamanho das part\u00edculas: o papel das curvas de turbidez-concentra\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-17782e9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"17782e9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Resultados e Discuss\u00e3o<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-58b213d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"58b213d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Os valores de turbidez para as diferentes concentra\u00e7\u00f5es e tamanhos das part\u00edculas de s\u00edlica s\u00e3o apresentados na <b>Figura 1<\/b>. Os pontos de dados representam o valor m\u00e9dio de triplicatas, com pequenas barras de erro que demonstram a alta precis\u00e3o das medi\u00e7\u00f5es. As regress\u00f5es lineares simples se ajustaram bem aos dados experimentais (R\u00b2&gt;0,94). Os resultados mostram que as correla\u00e7\u00f5es entre concentra\u00e7\u00e3o e turbidez dependem do tamanho das part\u00edculas, conforme refletido pelo aumento nas inclina\u00e7\u00f5es das curvas
