biodegradable que se obtiene de la quitina, el material estructural que se encuentra en los caparazones de crust\u00e1ceos como las gambas y los cangrejos. Mediante un proceso conocido como desacetilaci\u00f3n, la quitina se convierte en quitosano, que en su forma convencional se disuelve en soluciones ligeramente \u00e1cidas y puede formar hidrogeles en condiciones adecuadas. Gracias a su biocompatibilidad, sus propiedades ajustables y sus requisitos de procesamiento sencillos, el quitosano se usa mucho en la administraci\u00f3n de f\u00e1rmacos, la cicatrizaci\u00f3n de heridas y la ingenier\u00eda de tejidos.  <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fuentes comerciales, como <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/chitolytic.com\/\"><b>ChitoLytic<\/b><\/a><span o para mezclarlo con otros pol\u00edmeros.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br><\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quitosano de peso molecular medio<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (~200\u2013400\u202fkDa): Un equilibrio entre resistencia mec\u00e1nica y facilidad de procesamiento.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br><\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quitosano de alto peso molecular<\/span><\/i><span Del mismo modo, el mecanismo de reticulaci\u00f3n (por ejemplo, gelificaci\u00f3n alcalina frente a gelificaci\u00f3n inducida por calor) afecta a la cin\u00e9tica de gelificaci\u00f3n, la rigidez, la porosidad y la morfolog\u00eda final. Estas diferencias repercuten directamente en el rendimiento cl\u00ednico, influyendo en factores como los perfiles de liberaci\u00f3n de f\u00e1rmacos, la migraci\u00f3n celular y la inyectabilidad. Los instrumentos tradicionales \u2014como los re\u00f3metros, las m\u00e1quinas de ensayo de tracci\u00f3n o la microscop\u00eda de fuerza at\u00f3mica (AFM)\u2014 pueden plantear dificultades a la hora de manipular geles delicados, como la deformaci\u00f3n durante la carga, el deslizamiento en las mordazas y los efectos de deslizamiento en las paredes. Adem\u00e1s, la monitorizaci\u00f3n continua en condiciones fisiol\u00f3gicamente relevantes suele ser limitada, lo que dificulta el seguimiento de los cambios mec\u00e1nicos, como los que se producen durante la degradaci\u00f3n.
