Es handelt sich um eine dimensionslose Gr\u00f6\u00dfe, die sich aus dem Logarithmus des Verh\u00e4ltnisses von einfallendem Licht zu durchgelassenem Licht durch eine Probe ableitet. Das Absorptionsspektrum, das h\u00e4ufig grafisch dargestellt wird, zeigt die Wellenl\u00e4ngen, bei denen eine Substanz Licht am st\u00e4rksten absorbiert (<strong>Abbildung 1<\/strong>). Seine Absorptionsmaxima liegen bei 668 und 609 nm (Merck Index). Verschiedene Konzentrationen von Methylenblau in entionisiertem Wasser wurden im <a href=\"https:\/\/rheolution.com\/products\/absor-b\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABSOR.B\u2122<\/a> unter Verwendung von 1-ml-Klarglasfl\u00e4schchen und den Kartuschen Emitt.405, Emitt.520, Emitt.635 sowie Emitt.850 getestet.    <\/p><p><strong>Abbildung 2<\/strong> zeigt die Durchschnittswerte \u00b1 Standardabweichung (drei verschiedene Proben pro getesteter Konzentration, n = 3). Wie anhand des Spektrums zu erwarten war (Pfeile in Abbildung 1), wurde das rote Licht (635 nm) stark absorbiert, gefolgt von einer geringen Absorption des gr\u00fcnen Lichts (520 nm). Violett-blaues Licht (405 nm) und Infrarotlicht (850 nm) wiesen \u00fcber den untersuchten Konzentrationsbereich hinweg nahezu keine Absorption auf.  <\/p><p>Die Beziehung zwischen Extinktion und Konzentration ist gem\u00e4\u00df dem <a href=\"https:\/\/chem.libretexts.org\/Bookshelves\/Physical_and_Theoretical_Chemistry_Textbook_Maps\/Supplemental_Modules_(Physical_and_Theoretical_Chemistry)\/Spectroscopy\/Electronic_Spectroscopy\/Electronic_Spectroscopy_Basics\/The_Beer-Lambert_Law\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Beer-Lambert-Gesetz<\/a> linear, vorausgesetzt, die L\u00f6sung ist nicht zu konzentriert und das einfallende Licht ist monochromatisch. Die mit rotem Licht ermittelte lineare Beziehung kann zur Bestimmung der Methylenblau-Konzentration in einer unbekannten L\u00f6sung herangezogen werden. <\/p><p>In \u00dcbereinstimmung mit den Absorptionsergebnissen nahm die Durchl\u00e4ssigkeit f\u00fcr rotes Licht (635 nm) mit steigender Konzentration von Methylenblau in der L\u00f6sung ab. Bei 10 mg\/l wurden weniger als 10 % des Lichts durchgelassen. Die Durchl\u00e4ssigkeit nahm bei gr\u00fcnem (520 nm), violett-blauem (405 nm) und infrarotem (850 nm) Licht leicht ab (jeweils immer \u00fcber 85 %).
